Recently I had the most bizarre weekend ever. Just when I could not see things getting any worst, surprise surprise. As Americans we can now be guaranteed that our children will not only NOT be taught the “Pledge” for the flag, “Respect” for the National Anthem. But now it seems that we have lost the sense of pride, self worth, and dignity.
I heard of a protest that I could not understand, so I found myself looking into it so as too understand. It seems that some women in this country now want to be able to breast feed with their breast completely exposed. Women have been getting together in several places, to breast feed in groups, and not care who watches. Why I ask have women in this country now chosen to demoralize themselves in this manner. Breast feeding is one of the oldest bonds that children share with their mothers, and not something that is normally shared with anyone else. Yes in some third world countries women do expose themselves, but those women don’t have the problems we do here. Nor do they have a moral standard that has made us stand out, in the world. So is it a question of liberty, freedom, or just plain stupidity. What is the real thing being sought out.
Flip a coin, and on that same evening, as life would have it. Nine teenage girls in the rest room of a hotel not only plan, but openly discuss removing their underwear, so as to be ready for easy sex with the boys. I couldn’t believe the look on the woman’s face who came to report such a case. And then find that one of the dad’s at this party actually consented to provide alcohol to these minors. Adding to the insult he advises the security officer that he is in control.
When lines are drawn, we usually know that there are reasons why we shouldn’t cross, but we first need to draw them. So where in the world will we draw the line? Will we continue to let ourselves grow in an apparently law losing nation, or will we get back on track to stay civilized?
IT IS TIME WE GET OUR LINES RIGHT AGAIN!
